Naviera WM RT currently offers Spot services*, identifying markets that allow the organization of regular services.
* Spot service refers to a shipment or cargo that is transported on a one-time basis, not under any long-term contract or recurring schedule. It gets its name because these shipments are usually “on the spot” or ad-hoc. Essentially, if you have a shipment that is not part of your regular freight routine, that is spot freight.
At the moment, the company's specialists can organize international sea delivery of cargo in the export-import direction of the Caribbean region, including:
- Rio Haina (Dominican Republic)
- Cartagena (Colombia)
- Manzanillo (Panama)
- Santo Tomas de Castile (Guatemala)
- Puerto Cortes (Honduras)
- Puerto Limon (Costa Rica)
- Progreso (Mexico)
Throughout the entire journey, the cargo is under our control. Customers can always contact our offices and get reliable information about the location of their goods and the time of their arrival. The travel time between ports for container loading is determined by the ocean carrier's linear schedule, and therefore delivery times can be roughly estimated at the transportation planning stage.
The cost of ocean shipping depends on a variety of factors that should be discussed in advance before entering into a contract to avoid unforeseen costs.
